The workshop
The Maudé workshop was born from a unique bond between two sisters and their love for beautiful materials. Inspired by their heritage and their sensitivity to style, they wanted to create clothes that last and tell a story.
The Maudé workshop was born from a unique bond between two sisters and their love for beautiful materials. Inspired by their heritage and their sensitivity to style, they wanted to create clothes that last and tell a story.
In Suzhou, we discovered the exceptional craftsmanship of cashmere, passed down from generation to generation.
In Paris, we imagine simple and feminine lines, designed to last.
The Maudé workshop represents the meeting of French style and Chinese know-how, in service of an essential garment: the coat.
Our coats are designed in France and made in Suzhou, the historical heart of Chinese textile expertise.
Each piece is designed to last, combining style and robustness, while respecting materials and craftsmanship.
We choose the best materials and perfect every detail, for a garment that stands the test of time.
The cashmere used by Maudé comes from the highlands of Inner Mongolia , where the wool of cashmere goats is carefully harvested by hand. This rare and precious fiber, soft and lightweight, is the result of ancestral know-how, passed down from generation to generation, and forms the basis of our coats.
